About Sobal
Contributions to the Society
Since its establishment in 1983, Sobal has been operating under the motto, “We contribute to the society by providing technical solutions.”. This principle has not changed and will not change. Furthermore, the commitment extends beyond technology. We also participate in various volunteer activities.
We would like to progress to be a well-received company by the society. Also, we will continue participating in contributions to the society in our own way in order to support making a better society in a long-term perspective.
These untiring efforts of entire staffs make it possible to participate in these contributions to the society. Even if it is a little help, each of us is proud of eagerly cooperating with the people all over the world.
Aid for the Niigata Chuetsu Seismic Disaster
Through Japanese Red Cross Society, we have sent a donation for seismic victims of “The Chuetsu Offshore Earthquake” that occurred in July, 2007.
Aid for the Northern Pakistan Seismic Disaster
Through Japanese Red Cross Society, we have sent a donation for seismic victims of “The Kashmir earthquake of 2005” that occurred in October, 2005.
Aid for the Indian Ocean Seismic and Tsunami Disaster
Through Japanese Red Cross Society, we have sent a donation for seismic and tsunami victims in India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Maldives, Myanmar, Seychelles, Somalia, and such who had suffered from “The 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake” that occurred in December, 2004.
Aid for the Niigata Chuetsu Seismic Disaster and Typhoon Disasters
Through Japanese Red Cross Society, we have sent a donation for seismic victims of “The Mid Niigata Prefecture Earthquake of 2004” that occurred in October, 2004.
We also have sent a donation for the typhoon disasters in Shizuoka, Kagawa, and Miyazaki Prefecture in 2004.
Social Contributions at Company Events
We place collection boxes in each office, and collect used pre-paid cards, used stamps, and post card, and donate them to the foundations above. Also, we conduct gathering activities at annual general meeting and other in-company events.
